Welcome.  I am an economist in the Division of Consumer Protection at the Federal Trade Commission.  My research studies how informal institutions impact the provision of urban infrastructure in developing cities.  My current projects look at how water sharing networks in Manila, Philippines affect optimal pricing for large-scale water providers as well as how informal housing markets interact with public housing programs in South Africa.   I earned a PhD in economics from Brown University in 2018.  My research lies at the intersection of development economics, industrial organization, urban economics, and environmental economics.
